Whole-House Filters for Midland Water

Federal rules are still moving. In May 2026 the EPA proposed rescinding its limits for PFHxS and several other PFAS while keeping PFOA and PFOS (EPA). What a filter won't do
- Take out hardness. Carbon lets the calcium and magnesium straight through, so the crust on fixtures keeps forming.
- Replace maintenance. Carbon and sediment media wear out on a schedule.
- Fix arsenic or dissolved minerals. Those call for reverse osmosis at the tap.
Pairing with a softener
